“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) The men of Lakeshore Baptist church have a passion for God and his word. They have devoted themselves to systematically read through the scriptures together, from beginning to end. Thursday evenings at 6:00, men gather at the home of James Bobbitt for this endeavor. They also hold each other accountable, take an occasional road trip, minister to needs in the community, and have been known to cook up a mean barbecue.
